As natural paints are just as simple to apply and use as any other type of paint, they are just as competitive as any other quality painting and decorating firm.

Are you willing to travel to a job?
Yes, in the UK our base is in London but we have travelled to Devon, Stockholm and Gothenburg. Our Brussels buddies have worked as far afield as Paris.

Choice?

What is natural paint?
Natural paint is just that. Natural. Ordinary paint you may have previously used is more than likely made from petro-chemicals and a range of health and environment damaging nasties.
Natural paints are made from mainly made from fully renewable ingredients that disrupt the eco-system as little as possible, ingredients like linseed oil, turpentine distilled from living pine trees, chalk and clay.
What will the finish look like?
A simply applied wall paint will look pretty much like your standard paint but will have a much more pleasant feel and finish. Light interacts with natural pigments and paint, offering a sense of depth, feeling and life!
As Kevin McCloud says of the paint industry; “100% reliable but also 100% bland.. a story that parallels that of synthetic food”.

How many colours can I choose from?
They are available in a range of beautiful, vibrant colours including historical, traditional, standard and contemporary. One supplier has 1000 colours to choose from. We can also mix colours using pigments and glimmers of gold, silver, bronze and mica and apply glazes.

Why should I use them?
That choice is always yours. Because they are free from harmful substances they do not ’offgas,’ Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs), making these paints great for everyone, meaning you and your family, they are microporous, meaning moisture can pass through without flaking and peeling (the main cause of standard paint failure), Synthetic paint ingredients are electrically charged and use plastic, this means they attract dust and bacteria. Whilst natural paints use plant resins and other ingredients which repel dust and bacteria, enhancing the room climate and keeping their true colour for years to come. They will not cause eczema, asthma, cancer or respiratory problems, they purify your indoor atmosphere, and, well, the list goes on and on. Look on the main website for more info.


What types of paint are there?
For walls and ceilings there are a range of emulsions, casein paint, clay paint, and glazes.
For woodwork there is a choice of flat, satine and gloss finishes.

Where can the paints be used?
On any surface where conventional paints are applied.

Do natural paints wear well?
Absolutely. They are just as, if not more durable than chemical paints, you can have washable or scrubbable finishes and they retain their natural colour for years.
